Department Information

The Chino Police Department is comprised of more than 160 employees, both sworn and professional staff, and over 50 dedicated volunteers.  We serve more than 85,000 residents within 30 square miles.  The Chino Police Department handles over 8,000 calls for service each month and provides full service operations in various divisions such as; Patrol, Traffic Enforcement, Criminal Investigations, Special Enforcement Team, School Resource Officer, Crime Analysis, Communications and Crime Prevention, among many others.  The Chino Police Department serves a diverse community and enjoys a good working relationship with its community partners.  

In October 2012, the Chino Police Department opened the doors to its new 102,000 square foot police facility which includes an indoor shooting range, training facility, gym and police museum designed to support the growing Department.
